Q: HOW DOES THE SnuggleTite Slumber Bag WORK? A: You use the SnuggleTite Slumber Bag in the same manner that you would use a traditional sleeping bag. You simply zip the bottom edge and up the side. The two way zipper allows for effortless diaper changes that don't require undressing the baby. The quicker a change the less heat is lost, the more comfortable the baby, the less likely they will wake and the sooner you are back to sleep! The SnuggleTITE's unique design, using the straps and clips is easily and comfortably tightened around child, appropriate to your little one's continually changing size, ensuring your child won't kick it off during the night. Unlike some bag type garments and wearable sleepers, the SnuggleTite Slumber Bag's unique design provides for children's growth and is easily zipped open for use as a regular blanket. Q: ARE SnuggleTite Slumber Bags SAFE? A: Yes. If the SnuggleTite Slumber Bag is snuggly tightened around the child, it will keep the child from slipping down and at the same time will ensure that the bag won't be kicked off with the normal tossing and turning of a baby. A: The SnuggleTite Slumber Bag is designed to be worn with the appropriate pajamas for the season: heavier for winter and lightweight for summer, ultimate comfort and freedom of movement. With built in sleeves the bag can be cumbersome, hot, and confining. The absence of sleeves allows breathe ability, which is essential to prevent the dangers of over heating baby. The SnuggleTite Slumber Bag is not a replacement for sleepers/ pajamas, but is used to compliment whatever garment is worn and to keep a child 'warm and snug like a mother's hug' during their replenishing sleep. Q: HOW DO I DRESS MY BABY WHEN USING SLUMBER BAG and HOW CAN I TELL IF THEY'RE TOO HOT OR COLD? A: Dr. Sears recommends the ideal room temperature for a sleeping baby is 68°F or 20°C. With the SnuggleTite Slumber Bag a warmer sleeper in the winter is recommended, a light weight sleeper or 'onesie', for the summer, on hot nights a diaper with a short sleeved vest would suffice. Please don't overdress your baby. The quickest way to check to see if baby is comfortable is to place a hand under baby's clothing on the stomach or back, if the baby is sweaty, remove a layer of clothing, if cold add a sleeper, or T-shirt. Q: ISN'T THE SLUMBER BAG JUST LIKE A SLEEPING BAG, WON'T THE BABY GET TOO WARM? A: The SnuggleTite Slumber Bag is made with 100% breathable cotton, unlike nylon sleeping bags or synthetic blankets, which retain the heat, cotton is a completely naturally fabric that is comfortable next to your baby's delicate skin. Keeping baby comfortable with nursery temperature of 68°F or 20°C, choosing heavier weight garments for the winter with lighter weight garments for summer are equally as important for a baby's good night's sleep. Q: AT WHAT AGE CAN I START USING SnuggleTite Slumber Bag? A: You can use SnuggleTite Slumber Bags with newborns and even though newborns are not active it is still advisable to tighten the bag accordingly to ensure that the baby doesn't slip down in the bag. Q: WHERE CAN I USE THE SnuggleTite Slumber Bag? A: The SnuggleTite Slumber Bag was designed for a night time, nap time sleep apparatus, but has been used in strollers, car seats when a snowsuit would be too cumbersome and hot; a warm sweater and the bag is all that's required and since the SnuggleTite Slumber Bag allows freedom of arms/hands, the baby is able to grasp toys. It's great for campers, boaters, cottagers, when the temperature can drop significantly overnight, and with cool early mornings and late evenings the SnuggleTite Slumber Bag is an added comfort for both babies and parents. Q: HOW DOES THE TWO WAY ZIPPER WORK? A: With the 2 way zipper, diaper changes are made easy, convenient; just unzip the bottom of the bag, deal with the change, without having to remove the baby from the bag, there is little disturbance and very little temperature change for the baby. When the bag is completely unzipped it can be used as a regular blanket. Q: WHY WAS SnuggleTite Slumber Bag DESIGNED WITH CLIPS? A: The SnuggleTite Slumber Bag started off with 5 designs, each was tried and tested with real babies and parents. The design with the clips was the one that was the most effective with keeping the babies from kicking the bag off and was the choice of convenience for the mothers. Since a child would have difficulty manipulating the clips this would ensure that he/she would remain in the bag, as long as it was properly tightened to the child's size to begin with. Q: WHAT AGES WILL THE SnuggleTite Slumber Bag ACCOMMODATE? A: The SnuggleTite Slumber Bag was designed to safely replace costly bedding with the intention of a one time purchase; it will accommodate a child from newborn up until 3* years old, unlike other wearable bag type sleepers which have to be replaced as the child grows. Q: HOW DURABLE ARE THE CLIPS? And HOW SAFE ARE THEY? A: The clips are made from a non-toxic durable plastic and will with stand regular use and washing, but like all products will break with miss-use. But because you can never be too safe when it involves children, Please ensure that the clips are attached together at all times, even when the bag is not in use.
